Let’s join hands for a better tomorrow!

Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery SMBB Institute of Trauma is striving hard to be the cause of someone’s hope. Amid the outbreak, we have been following one ideology – Prevention is better than cure. Even among the pandemic situation with universal lockdowns, our team of vascular surgeons is onboard round the clock to serve, as this is the only facility for patients suffering from painfully debilitating vascular disease and life-threatening vascular trauma in the entire public sector of Sindh.

We work with cutting-edge technologies!

We have incorporated our Angio suite with cutting-edge technologies and in-house professionals for quality service. These are life and limb-saving therapies done by advanced, minimally-invasive methods to speed up recovery and make a difference when it matters.

We try to be the reason for someone’s smile

The ward is built with an aim to provide quality care services to the patients coming from different parts of Sindh. With the help of highly-talented and professional surgeons, we are committed to providing free of cost facilities. We believe it is not just a ward but a room that provides hope to live, and we have been hearing success melodies all around.

Let’s not forget the harsh reality!

While the Department of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery SMBB Institute of Trauma has been dealing with vascular diseases with success and a minimal failure rate, the excruciating truth is that the procedure is harsh with a high degree of pain and loss involved. Vascular diseases are caused by artery blockage due to the plaque buildup, reducing the flow of blood to different parts of the body. However, with dedicated surgeons and professionals of the industry are on board, we try to provide world-class care to our patients by providing them with advanced and minimally-invasive treatments.

We are frontline workers!

Dr. Fahad Tariq Berlas, the Consultant Vascular Surgeon and Head of Vascular & Endovascular Surgery Department. He is all geared up with safety precautions before embarking on a lifesaving surgery. Similarly, our team of surgeons is taking all precautionary measures as advised by WHO in order to operate in a secure environment. We have been following SOPs to protect everyone around us. The current situation has created the need for facilities’ upgradation. The outbreak of the coronavirus has made us short on inventory and other medical facilities. Despite having adequate measures to protect the frontline men, we are in need of equipment and tools needed to provide world-class care and treatment facilities.

We need your support!

To be a part of someone’s fight to be alive, we need you and your support. With the inadequate inventory, physical equipment, and short on donations, we are unable to convert any failing story into a successful one; thus, we need your help to twist the plot. We have incorporated proper Zakat and donation systems so that you know your help is put to the right use. We are shariah-compliant and also have a qualified and certified Mufti onboard for thorough monitoring and evaluation and to eradicate any minimal chances of ambiguity.
